We know that attending events can be an ongoing concern, and each person must choose to do what is within their own comfort level, given their ability to protect their own health at a conference. We hope that by taking the following steps to protect attendees, we are able to provide many of you with the much-needed opportunity to get together face-to-face to share best practices in hospitality training, and we can all continue to work through this together.*

Venue & Meeting Rooms

  • *** The State of Nevada has lifted it's mask mandate regardless of vaccination status. Caesars Entertainment, including the LINQ Hotel, is following suit and allowing individuals to choose whether or not to wear a mask.
  • The LINQ Hotel is relatively small by Las Vegas standards and the space is very manageable. The Promenade is right outside the door allowing for ample outdoor eating, drinking and strolling.
  • We are making every effort to hold networking events outdoors when possible, and to ensure that meeting spaces are large to allow for easy social distancing.
  • The LINQ hotel Meeting Rooms are upstairs away from the casino and CHART has almost the entire meeting room space to ourselves while we are there, minimizing exposure to additional people.

CHART Conference Additional PrecautionS

  • Attendees will be offered a choice of green, yellow and red rubber bracelets to wear, and/or green, yellow or red stickers on their nametags, indicating to each other personal comfort level with hugging, shaking hands, and social distancing. We introduced these at CHART 100 Atlanta and received very positive feedback from attendees.
  • Disposable masks and hand sanitizer will be available at the registration desk, hospitality suite, lounge, and meeting rooms.
  • Attendees are required to wear masks in meeting rooms (except speakers) and public spaces, but masks are not required in any outside locations or when seated at inside meal functions.

While participating at CHART 101 in Las Vegas, participants are encouraged to practice hand hygiene, “social distancing” and wear face coverings to reduce the risks of exposure to COVID-19. Because COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is spread mainly from person-to-person contact, CHART has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19. However, CHART cannot guarantee that its attendees will not become infected with COVID-19 and attendees must take responsibility for protecting their health.

* Have a safety procedure to share? Email Tara.  We want to demonstrate at CHART conferences the best practices being used by our member restaurants and hotels to help bring people back together while maintaining the necessary health and safety measures.
